Minouk Lim, resident artist at the Hyde Park Art Center, 5020 S. Cornell Ave., will be in the spotlight during two events in January at the center.
On Sunday, Jan. 13, Lim will be available to discuss her work, including a performative piece she will create in the art center studios in January and February as part in the IN>TIME ’13 festival which will be taking place in venues across the city in February. The event takes place from noon to 10 p.m.
On Saturday, Jan. 26, Lim will open her studio to the public and provide a sneak peek into the IN>TIME piece she will be working on. The event takes place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Lim is a member of the inaugural Jackman artist-in-residence class at the center, named for board member Deone Jackman, who funds the residencies.
