Tibetan comes to Hyde Park to discuss peace

Tibetan Buddhist leader Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche will speak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 26, at Rockefeller Chapel, 5850 S. Woodlawn Ave., as part of a weekend-long conference, “Imagining Peace.”

At that evening’s event, entitled “Creating Enlightened Society,” Mipham will “reflect on how we may achieve a peaceful society” according to the conference’s website, imaginingpeace.org. His talk will be preceded by music by the Fulcrum Point New Music Project beginning at 6:30 p.m.
