Historian to speak at Seminary Co-op

Bestselling historian Rick Perlstein will be holding his second public Hyde Park conversation this spring at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, at the Seminary Co-op Bookstore, 5751 S. Woodlawn Ave.

The “Nixonland” author will speak with Don Rose, a liberal political consultant and journalist for the Chicago Daily Observer, an online publication covering local news founded in 2007.

In early May, Perlstein spoke with author Garry Willis, who won a Pulitzer Prize in 1993 for his book, “Lincoln At Gettysburg,” an analysis of the president’s famous speech.
