The Hyde Park Art Center will mark the Saturday, July 27 closing of its exhibit by former artist-in-residence Jeremiah Hulsebos-Spofford, “Hall of Khan,” with a horse parade viewing.
Hulsebos-Spofford will discuss his work centering around horses at the art center, 5020 S. Cornell Ave., during the first hour of the exhibit’s closing ceremony. Afterward, the present group will view a horse parade along the lakefront path at 51st Street presented by the Broken Arrow Horseback Riding Club, a Black equestrian group.
There, the group founder and president will discuss horse riding in the Second City.
