MAPSCorps to present work

MAPSCorps, an eight-week science and community service summer internship program, will be hosting its final presentation on Thursday August 15, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Ida Noyes Hall Cloister Club, 1212 East 59th St.

The University of Chicago undergraduates involved in the program will be presenting their experiences working with the community’s high school students. Together, they have researched 20 South Side neighborhoods to map the area’s businesses and organizations.
Highlighted in the final presentation will be the contribution the program has made to southsidehealth.org, which shares the data collected by MAPSCorps with the residents of their communities.
