The University of Chicago Office of Civic Engagement will host regular conversations with its neighbors through as series of public forums.
The first neighborhood conversation, for Hyde Park residents, will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Nichols Park Fieldhouse, 1355 E. 53rd St.
The university said, in a press release, that it wants to “enhance quality of life in its neighboring communities.”
The university will update residents about neighborhood initiatives, and how the school interacts with its neighbors. There will be time for open discussion and questions and answers.
