The Hyde Park and Kenwood Interfaith Council will bring members of diverse religious traditions together to celebrate their faiths.
The interfaith council will host Sharing Sacred Spaces, a series that will open up the doors of a number of Hyde Park houses of worship, and discuss the ways that architecture influences faith and how that, in turn, influences the surrounding neighborhood.
“It’s an opportunity to see inside buildings we regularly walk past, and to find out about the communities of faith which use these buildings on a daily basis,” said Alice Dan, council vice president and series coordinator.
