Hyde Park Historical Society to host author Frances McNamara

Mystery novelist Frances McNamara will discuss her work from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, at the Hyde Park Historical Society, 5529 S. Lake Park Ave.

McNamara is the author of several Chicago whodunit tales, including “Death and Hull House” — which takes place at 19th century social worker Jane Addams’ famed West Side settlement house — and “Death at the Fair,” set at the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition.

Her latest book, Death at Woods Hole,” was published in July 2012.
