A Chicago attorney seeking to develop a new framework plan and $10 million visitors center for Jackson Park will share his latest update with the public at a talk this week.
Robert W. Karr Jr. will discuss Jackson Park and its Japanese garden in a lecture hosted by Friends of the Parks at 12:15 p.m. on Thursday at the Chicago Cultural Center’s Claudia Cassidy Auditorium, 78 E. Washington St. There, he will reveal the name of an expert on architect Frederick Law Olmstead who will guide the park’s planned development — dubbed Project 120.
