A public meeting concerning the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer’s (USACE) planned restoration of Jackson Park will take place next week.
The meeting will be hosted by the USACE and the Chicago Park District at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, at the Jackson Park field house, 6401 S. Stony Island Ave.
On April 12, the USACE released a study detailing possible ways of restoring Jackson Park’s natural habitats with funding from the federal government’s Great Lakes Restoration Initiative and the Chicago Park District. The deadline for public comment on the study is May 12.
