Seminary Co-op celebrates past, present and future during weekend event

On Saturday, Oct. 15, the Seminary Co-op will host a celebratory event to reflect on the history and future of the bookstore that has been in the neighborhood since 1961.

From 4:30 to 6 p.m., guests are invited to browse the shelves of the bookstore at 5751 S. Woodlawn Ave., along with celebrating the publication of the Seminary Co-op Documentary Project book, “If You Weren’t Looking for It: The Seminary Co-op Bookstore.”

Former general manager at the Co-op for over 40 years, Jack Cella, will provide details into the Co-op’s past and future.
