The University of Chicago (U. of C.) Symphony Orchestra will host a concert Saturday evening, March 4, presenting the work of acclaimed composers who were pioneers of their time.
The program will include work from Jean Sibelius and Hector Berlioz as well as Beethoven, Brahms, Dvorák, Mahler, Shostakovich, Stravinsky, Vaughan Williams and other artists.
The orchestra will be led by Director and Conductor Barbara Schubert and will feature U. of C. students and faculty and community members.
Admission is free for the concert and it will take place at 8 p.m. at Mandel Hall, 1131 E. 57th St.
