C. Lynn Williams, author of “Trying to Stay Sane while Raising Your Teen” and a number of other books on parenting advice, will hold a workshop Saturday, March 25, at the Hyatt Place Chicago-South/University Medical Center, 5225 S. Harper Ave., entitled Kick the Chaos- A Sanity Workshop for Working Moms.

Williams, the holder of an MBA from Roosevelt University and a motivational speaker on family dynamics and positive family relationship, will speak to working mothers and women who feel overwhelmed with their responsibilities.   She is the founder of Finding Superwoman, a coaching curriculum for working women who are having trouble balancing their careers, families and marriages.

Much of the emphasis of her message in her books centers on communicating with teen children and what she refers to as “contemporary parenting strategies.” Williams touts her own experiences and success in raising her own children and her teaching and mentoring work with high school youth. The Saturday workshop is centered on personal development and putting one’s emotions and goals in order to lead a more organized and fulfilling family and career life.

The workshop runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and costs between $97 and $99.
