After nearly 22 years with the company, Michael McGarry is no longer President of the Hyde Park Bank, 1525 E. 53rd St.

“I will start off by saying with Wintrust, we both came to the conclusion that it was time for me to move on,” McGarry said. “I am looking forward to another part of my career.”

Although the two parties decided to move on, McGarry said he will continue to be a part of the community and will continue to serve in his position as president of the board of Montgomery Place, in addition to serving on boards for other organizations in the Hyde Park community.

McGarry joined Hyde Park Bank in 1996 and has held positions of increasing responsibility, from retail banking to marketing and strategic planning. In 2011 he was named President. He became Market President when Hyde Park Bank joined Wintrust Bank in December 2012.

As of Herald press time, no replacement for McGarry has been named.
