The University of Chicago Symphony Orchestra in collaboration with the Hyde Park School of Dance will host its Annual Halloween Concert on Saturday, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
The event will take place at Mandel Hall, 1131 E. 57th St., on the campus of the University of Chicago and will feature an evening of music, storytelling, two performances, and special effects – including a distinctive, thematic entrance by costume conductor, Barbara Schubert of the Hyde Park School of Dance.
The admission of the concert is free with a requested $10 dollar and $5 dollar donations at the door ($10 general, $5 students/children).
Audience members attending Saturday’s concerts are encouraged to wear costumes.
