The Chicago Police Department is giving notice to residents in the area following a string of robberies that occurred in October.

In all incidents, police said between two and four suspects, wearing black and white masks (in one incident it is described as a skeleton ski mask), approached victims while in or near their parked cars.

The suspects drew handguns and demanded property.

After taking the victims belongings, the suspects fled in what has been described as dark-colored SUV, a white four-door sedan, or a brown or black Kia Sportage. In the four most recent incidents, the victims’ cars were taken.
