Rubber hits the road

So the rubber has literally hit the road in the question of Jackson Park and the Barack Obama Presidential Center. The city estimates that it will cost $175 million to make the changes and improvements called for in the planning for Jackson Park. Everyone seems to understand that this is going to be public money. It will now be up to the Chicago and Illinois community to decide what we are all willing to do to celebrate the presidency of Barack Obama, America’s first African American President, and the diversity that symbol represents.
