Beekeeping forum in Hyde Park

The Jackson Park Fieldhouse will host a beekeeping forum from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday, Sept. 7. Michael Thompson, farm manager for the Chicago Honey Co-op will speak about urban beekeeping and the future of bees. The fieldhouse is located at 6401 S. Stony Island Ave.

This old house returns to HP

The Hyde Park Historical Society will hold the second-to-last lectures of its “This Old (Hyde Park) House” series Sept. 22. Sculptures on point end tenure

Hyde Park Players announce new auditions

The Hyde Park Community Players will hold auditions for a production of “Les Liaisons Dangereuses,” a play by Christopher Hampton based on the French novel by the same title. Book fair organizers accepting donations

The Hyde Park Used Book Sale began accepting donations for this year’s event.
