U. of C. graduates thousands despite inclement weather

Last weekend the University of Chicago awarded 2,811 graduate students and 1,197 undergrads with degrees following convocation on Saturday. Saturday’s 515th Convocation ceremony was dampened by rain but was held despite predicted thunderstorms on the university’s Main Quadrangle.
