Collaso presents duets

Joan Collaso Inc Productions presents the 3rd Annual Christmas Duets Mentoring Concert and Fundraiser, held for Timeless Gifts’ Youth Mentoring Program for the Performing Arts, at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2, at the DuSable Museum of African American Art, 740 E. 56th Place.

Timeless Gifts is a nonprofit founded by Emmy award-winning Chicago vocalist Joan Collaso in 2010. The organization mentors youth between the ages of 8 and 18.

Sunday’s concert will showcase program participants performing duets with their mentors and features appearances by artists Joan Collaso, Larry Hanks, James Perkins, Chuck Webb, Keith Henderson, Tony Carpenter, Rayzine Collaso and Rashida KhanBey, as well as the Walt Whitman and the Soul Children of Chicago choir.
