The Hyde Park-Kenwood Community Conference will host an informational meeting next week on the proposal to renovate two Frank Lloyd Wright houses into a bed-and-breakfast.
HP-K CC has officially taken no position on the proposal but will host a panel of experts on architecture, Kenwood, zoning and licensing, and the current state of the homes.
The meeting will take place at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 17, at Ancona School, 4770 S. Dorchester Ave.
Additionally the Blossom and McArthur Homes, 4858 S. Kenwood Ave. and 4852 S. Kenwood Ave., will be open for public viewing from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 15.
The HP-K CC said in a press release that the meeting will be “an opportunity to gather information, not as an opportunity to take a public stand on the issue.”
