Chicago police warn of robberies on Harper Avenue

The Chicago Police Department report that two robberies have taken place on Harper Avenue in the past week. In these incidents, the offenders threatened the victims with violence and made off with personal belongings.

The first incident occurred on May 23 in the 5700 block of South Harper Avenue at 10:24 p.m. The second incident is reported to have happened May 26 on the 5800 block of South Harper Avenue at 9:25 p.m.

In both incidents, the offender was listed as an African American male, 18 to 22 years of age, standing at approximately 5’ 8” and wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt.
