New Polsky Center project a plus for Hyde Park

The University of Chicago, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the U.S. Army Research Laboratory announced, last week, that they will partner to create a new approximately 28 story building that will house the Polsky Center research and technology lab at 5235 S. Harper Court. The lab will be used as a research facility for world problems.

We think this project will be a great asset to the community because it will lead to more job creation, attract more people to become residents in this community, boost the economy of 53rd Street, and they already have the land available so no one will be dislocated. Most importantly, the research done at the facility might help solve some world problem wouldn’t that be great?
