The University of Chicago Police listed the following incidents as having occurred between August 13 and August 20.

On Monday, Aug. 13 at 2 a.m., a suspect armed with a firearm took a wallet and iPhone from a victim walking at 5123 S. Woodlawn Ave. and fled in a waiting vehicle. The Chicago Police are investigating.

On Wednesday, Aug. 15 at 1:05 a.m., two suspects, one displaying a handgun, took two iPhones, a wallet and cash from victims at 5426 S. Harper Ave. The suspects fled on Divvy bikes. The Chicago Police are investigating.

On Thursday, Aug. 16 at 11:20 p.m., suspects smashed the front window of Build Coffee, 6100 S. Blackstone Ave., and stole coins and food. The Chicago Police are investigating.

On Friday, Aug. 17 at 8:06 a.m., the police received a report of tools stolen from an unsecured work van parked at 1450 E. 59th St.

On Sunday, Aug. 19 at 2:10 a.m., a suspect struck a UCPD officer while the officer was trying to quell a disturbance on the street at 5220 S. Harper Ave. The suspect was arrested and charged with felony aggravated battery of a police officer.

On Aug. 19 at 12:59 p.m., a UCPD officer found through an in-car license plate reader an unoccupied, parked vehicle at 968 E. 60th St. that had been reported stolen to the Chicago Police. The vehicle was turned over to the Chicago Police.

On Aug. 19 at 5:57 p.m., a group of people were causing a disturbance and fighting at the University of Chicago Medical Center emergency room, 5656 S. Maryland Ave. Chicago Police officers arrested two suspects and recovered a firearm.

On Aug. 19 at 8:45 p.m., four suspects took a wallet and cell phone from a victim walking at 5136 S. Dorchester Ave. The Chicago Police are investigating.
