The University of Chicago Police Department (UCPD) reported the following incidents between Sept. 10 and 16.
On Tuesday, Sept. 11, at 5 p.m., a man reported to the police that his car, which had been relocated due to construction around the 1100 East block of 56th Street, was not where it was said to have been relocated. At 11:55 a.m. next day at 1005 E 54th Pl., a UCPD officer recovered an unattended, parked vehicle that had been reported to the Chicago Police.
On Friday, Sept. 14, at 2:40 a.m., a suspect entered a residence on the 5500 South block Woodlawn Avenue and stole electronics and other items. The Chicago Police are investigating.
On Saturday, Sept. 15 at 6:30 a.m., a suspect physically resisted UCPD officers as he was arrested for a warrant at 5700 S. Maryland Ave.
