The University of Chicago Police listed the following incidents as having occurred between Nov. 12 and Nov. 18.

On Monday, Nov. 12 at 11:30 a.m., a suspect seeking a donation distracted a victim at the Duchossois Center for Advanced Medicine cafe, 5758 S. Maryland Ave., and took a cell phone from the table top.
On Nov. 12 at 7:40 p.m., two suspects, described as black men, demanded a victim’s bag while he walked at 5517 S. Blackstone Ave. and style his laptop. The victim was not injured. Chicago Police detectives are investigating.
On Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 11:25 a.m., a suspect grabbed a victim’s cell phone from the top of a copy machine at 5420 S. Lake Park Ave., the location of Office Depot, and ran from the store. The responding UCPD officer located and took the suspect into custody, recovering the victim’s phone.
On Nov. 13 at 9:46 p.m., police received a report of someone punching in a door lock of a vehicle parked at 946 E. Midway Plaisance and stealing an audio system.
On Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 3:50 p.m., a suspect, described as a black man, groped a victim walking on the sidewalk at 751 E. 61st St. and fled in a waiting dark-colored vehicle. Chicago Police detectives are investigating.
On Thursday, Nov. 15, at 10:50 p.m., a victim’s ex-boyfriend forcibly took a cell phone from a victim on the sidewalk at 1359 E. 58th St. The suspect fled before police were called, but the victim declined to prosecute the suspect after a follow-up investigation.
On Nov. 15 at 11:08 p.m., UCPD officers arrested a suspect wanted on an Illinois Department of Corrections warrant for violation of parole at 5701 S. Harper Ave.
On Sunday, Nov. 18, at 3:50 a.m., an underage individual became ill after consuming alcoholic beverages and, at 3:50 a.m., was transported from Snell–Hitchcock Hall, 1009 E. 57th St., to the University of Chicago Medical Center by Chicago Fire Department emergency medical services.
