The University of Chicago Police Department (UCPD) reported the following incidents between April 29 and May 5.

On Monday, April 29, at 3 p.m., two suspects who had been observed taking items from a vehicle parked at 1218 E. Midway Plaisance were detained by a UCPD officer; the victim declined prosecution.

On Tuesday, April 30, at 4:04 p.m., an individual reported having felt like she was sexually assaulted while sleeping at the Center for Care and Discovery, 5700 S. Maryland Ave. The Chicago Police are investigating.

On Wednesday, May 1, at 3:20 a.m., Metra police detained a suspect wanted on a warrant at the 55th–56th–57th Street station. The suspect was turned over and arrested by the UCPD.

On Friday, May 3, at 9:30 p.m., a domestic partner struck a victim in the face with a fist during the course of a domestic argument on the street at 5700 S. Woodlawn Ave. and was arrested by the UCPD.

On Saturday, May 4, at 11:36 p.m., a suspect struck a UCPD officer on the street at 5980 S. Ellis Ave. and was arrested and charged with felony aggravated battery.
